    We are hiring a Closing Associate IV to work remotely for our team.

    Job title: Closing Associate IV - Sr. Funder

    Reports to: Closing Manager

    FLSA: Non Exempt

    Job purpose:

    • The Closing Associate IV is responsible for reviewing loan documents, requesting and obtaining loan approval conditions, and facilitating the closing of the transaction. This position will have daily contact with the Loan Originators, Processors, and Closing Agents to ensure accurate and timely closings. Compliance with TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure rule is critical to avoid untimely delays to the closing of the loan transaction.

    Duties and responsibilities:

    • Review file for TILA RESPA Integrated Disclosure violations and ensure file is in compliance and fees/APR's are within tolerances
    • Prepare final loan documents for closing and engage Escrow/Title for closing date coordination
    • Review all loan documents for correct signatures, notary information, escrow instructions, etc. and to maintain compliance with federal, state (wet and dry), and guidelines
    • Work with Underwriting to ensure all conditions have been cleared
    • Communicate with all parties' status of funding
    • Adhere to Funding turn times
    • Process minimum of 4 to 6 files per day
    • Condition review of minimum 4 to 6 files per day
    • Ensure proper uploading and assigning of loan docs to appropriate placeholders
    • Prepare Collateral Package for submittal to Wire Desk
    • Other duties as assigned

    Job Specific Skills and Knowledge:

    • Familiarity with ENCOMPASS a plus
    • Familiarity with TILA RESPA Integrated Disclosure, HOEPA, HMDA, required

    Qualifications:

    • High School degree or GED
    • 3+ years of mortgage banking Funding experience.
    • Good verbal and written communication skills

    We offer a comprehensive benefit package including; medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k, and paid time off. Compensation is based on experience and ranges from $48,000 - $62,000/yr. This is a full-time position.
