Maintenance Electrician I- Full time - Tama, IA, United States - National Beef
Description
Iowa Premium, a National Beef Company in Tama, Iowa, is looking for a qualified professional to join our Maintenance Team as a Maintenance Electrician.
Hourly wage for this position starts at $25.50 per hour up to $35.50 per hour depending on experience.Relocation Package and Qualification Bonus available
$1 per hour perfect attendance bonus

Maintenance Electrician responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Trouble-shooting, Repairing and Replacing electrical components
Dismantling and removing electrical cables and wiring
Install new equipment
Running of electrical conduit
Understand and comply with all safety and electrical codes
Qualified candidates for the Maintenance Electrician position should possess the following:
Previous electrical experience – preferably in an industrial setting
Able to drive a forklift or willing to undertake forklift training
Able to stand/walk on concrete/stairs for duration of shift
Able to pass mechanical aptitude test
Able to use lift trucks (i.e. – Ability to work various shifts and 'on-call' as needed
Preferred Block Certified or Journeyman Electrician
Wear task-specific Personal Protective Equipment
Keep work areas clean and tidy at all times
