Position: Assistant Controller

Pay: $65,000 - $80,000

We are looking for an Assistant Controller for one of Hawaii's most effective non-profit animal protection organizations.

Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day accounting activities of the Business office
• Month-end closing process and entries
• Responsible for the accurate and timely recording of financial data related to personnel, accounting, feline fix program and spay/neuter program

Qualifications:

• Must maintain and present personal conduct, personal appearance and office space as a professional
• Requires working with minimal supervision
• Skills/Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of the theories, principles and procedures of accounting
• Education/Training: Bachelor's degree in accounting
