    Key Initiatives And Results Expected

    Leading a team of experienced and tenured staff creating, updating, and editing product information data for one or more Zones Product Catalogs (ZPC) in accordance with Product Information Management (PIM) Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) within the timelines prescribed
    Be accountable for overall data management and governance of ZPC hardware, software, and services throughout product lifecycles
    Implement process improvements and additional automated and semi-automated catalog data feeds between Zones its major distributors and manufacturers as prioritized by business stakeholders

    Strategies And Essential Functions

    Train and monitor staff performance in executing SKU management needs of Zones Product Catalogs (ZPCs) and PIM Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
    Oversee audits of ZPCs on various product attributes and report results on a regular basis.
    Create and publish reports to improve visibility to PIM process health and overall ZPC data integrity
    Provide product information support and thought leadership to Global teams during their standard operating hours (local time)
    Own relationship with Digital Transformation team driving process and technology improvements targeting increased operational efficiency

    Stakeholder Management

    Regularly review, improve and communicate ZPC policy and procedure documented in PIM SOPs and update SOPs to realignment as business strategies evolve
    Ensure consistent use of PIM SOP to maintain ZPC data integrity
    Ensure consistent use of Standard, Complete Responses in PIM Case responses to steer Case requestors to consistent results in alignment with Zones overall business equities
    Attend strategy meetings/debriefs adjusting PPM partner & product lines or SC distribution sourcing strategies as they evolve
    Meet with stakeholders to implement automated and semi-automated ZPC data feeds with available technology (EDI 832, API, MSU, etc.) from strategic OEMs and vendors
    Adjust settings (flags, fields, exclusion filters) in ZPC data systems to align with business strategy changes

    Auditing

    Develop and stabilize new audit needs identified by business stakeholders (Sourcing, PPM, Finance and Audit) to ensure that ZPCs support business and financial objectives
    Oversee regular audits of ZPCs by PIM staff and monitor report results for opportunities to engage with stakeholders and team members
    Trending, analysis and findings of existing ZPC audits with regular reporting to business stakeholders.
    Recommend audits to address inconsistencies in data to maintain ZPC data integrity

    Escalations & Issue Resolution

    Promptly respond to escalations with strategies to avoid same or similar repeated escalations.
    Collaborate with leadership and business stakeholders to perform Root Cause Analysis, document findings and share learnings with PIM team and business stakeholders
    Identify development opportunities for training/coaching involved staff to avoid same or similar escalations in the future

    Team Performance Management:
    Responsible for distribution of work tactically among team members to ensure adequate back up and cross-training on tasks and allow for staff work/life balance

    Regularly assess skill set (soft skill and process) of the team members to identify gaps and address through cross/refresher training
    Strong and effective internal communication which promotes quality, process improvements and aligns resources to process requirement, including strong conflict and change management
    Consistent on-boarding and training of new hires for fastest time to productivity while ensuring ZPC data integrity
    Identified resources with data entry error rate > 0.05% to provide additional training/coaching as part of Development plan
    Recognize top performers and encourage sharing and demonstrating their best practices
    Conduct periodic process tests to assess team members' process knowledge
    Manage upwards with Supply Chain leadership to keep them apprised of progress toward set goals, cross functional challenges, and overall team health


    METRICS
    % Sourcing requested PIM Cases greater than Sales requested PIM Cases (Create New Item & Update Item)
    Onboard new OEM/Disti EDI or MSU catalog feeds as prioritized by SC Leadership/IT resources
    Timely weekly audit of five (5) ZPCs and monthly audit reporting
    48-hour turn around for ZPC strategy changes from Sourcing, Supply Chain or PPM

    Supervisory Responsibilities

    Train, lead and supervise and staff. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

    Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

    Education/Certification


    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
    Graduate – Any Specialization

    Certificates/Licenses, Etc.

    Excellent spoken and written communication (English) a must
    Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to successfully interact with internal stakeholders.

    Highly proficient in Excel, with demonstrated ability to create advanced models, pivot tables, charts, and other methods to aid in reporting/analysis of data.

    Knowledge of VBA preferred
    Outstanding presentation and communication skills

    Written:
    Successfully prepare written communication. Candidate should be able to enter large quantity of data from single/multiple sources in a prescribed format at the required level of accuracy

    Computer Skills:
    Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft O365 including, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and other general office applications. Knowledge of SharePoint an added advantage
    Open to direction and collaborative work style

    Required Experience

    At least 8-10 years of working experience managing a team
    Experience working with high volume data management required
    Experience working with offshore/out-sourced business operations preferred
    Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of business
    Excellent organizational skills and process expertise
    Strong analytical skillset including Power BI knowledge a plus
    Familiarity with B2B/Distribution operations a plus

    Qualified candidates can expect a salary range of $105,000 - $115,000 + Bonus.

    Note:
    Compensation is benchmarked on local Washington area market rates.

    Qualified candidates in other locations can expect a salary package that may be adjusted based off applicable cost of wages in their respective location.
