    Job DescriptionCustodian Job DescriptionDo you enjoy working on your feet? Do you enjoy doing multiple task in a day? Are you ready to jump start your career today? The DaMar Team is seeking to identify a custodian for a local non profit organization.

    Client Profile- A nonprofit community service center.

    Job Summary- The custodian reports to the office manager and the building custodian; responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the building and the surrounding grounds including vacuuming floors, sanitizing restroom facilities and collecting trash.

    Job Duties

    • Ensure that the building and facilities are clean and presentable for use by the public and staff.
    • Clean and sanitize the Childcare facility to meet state regulations and guidelines.
    • Perform minor grounds work around the campus.
    • Arrange furniture and equipment for meetings and special events
    • Perform cleaning tasks in restrooms, offices and outside areas such as sweeping, scrubbing, dusting, disinfecting, shampooing empty waste containers.
    • Maintain clean linens and washable items throughout the organization
    • Keep a detailed inventory of all products and items.
    • Reporting damages and failed equipment to Office Manager
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Valid Driver's License preferred but not required
    • Favorable criminal history background check
    • Ability to pass a physical abilities test and TB screen
    • Ability to lift excess of 50 pounds
    • Experience in performing custodial duties

    Hours:
    M-F 11am to 8p

    Pay:
    up to $17.00 hourly, competitive insurance and benefits and incentives
