Job summary
Soar Autism Center is hiring for an SLP (Speech-Language Pathologist) to enhance our interdisciplinary team focused on delivering outstanding care to children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).We prioritize early intervention, integrated autism care, and the application of evidence-based methodologies tailored to the unique needs of each child and their family.
- Conducting assessments to identify speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in children with ASD
- Developing and executing detailed treatment plans aimed at improving the communication abilities of children aged 2-6 employing a diverse array of therapeutic techniques and instruments
- Collaborating extensively with our multidisciplinary team including behavior analysts occupational therapists psychologists to ensure comprehensive care
- Actively involving families in the treatment process by providing them with education resources support to foster their child's speech language development
- Regularly evaluating documenting progress of each child fine-tuning interventions as necessary maximize effectiveness
