    Come Join a Great Team The purpose of this position is to serve as Customer Service Representative at Gentle Care Pet Clinic, to perform record keeping duties, to perform clerical duties related to patient care and treatment, and to provide miscellaneous support to the Veterinary Practice Manager and health care team.

    These service functions include, but are not limited to, reception (visitor and telephone), maintenance of veterinary medical records, accounts maintenance, cash processing, data entry, word processing and mail service.

    This position requires a practical knowledge of hospital organization and services, the basic rules and regulations governing visitors and animal patient treatment, data transcribing, word processing, and a practical knowledge of the standard procedures, veterinary records and terminology used in the hospital.

    Regular attendance and timeliness are an essential function in order to fulfill the requirements of this position.

    Requirements Our clinic is looking for a full-time , experienced veterinary receptionist with a positive attitude and the people skills to support the veterinary staff in ensuring quality veterinary care for all pets, educating clients on all aspects of pet health, and ensuring a safe and effective hospital environment.

    We want someone who wants to join our practice for the long haul. We are seeking a self-motivated, enthusiastic, and caring receptionist to join our very team-oriented staff.

    This ideal candidate must possess strong communications skills, a positive attitude, an outgoing personality, be hard working, self-motivated, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for patient care.

    Start pay is based on experience and ranges from $16-17 per hour.
    Requirements

    Full-time including some Saturdays.
    Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    Monday to Friday
    Weekend availability
