- Life Science Go-to-Market Strategy: Design the growth marketing strategy from inception to plan, budgeting and alignment. Create a compelling business case to invest in growth areas anchored in:
- Customer Intelligence:Deeply understand customer in segment, path-to-purchase, decision making process and criteria, and decision-making panels leveraging internal SME interviews, primary research, desk research etc. Define the ICP and personas we are targeting together with brand and our agency partners.
- Value Proposition Development:Develop the value proposition and messaging strategy by audience and work with the Communications and Brand team to understand how it ladders up to the corporate strategy.
- Execute the Growth Marketing program: Implement loyalty, cross-sell and expansion activities through sales, customer service, and digital channels.
- Upper Funnel Marketing Programs:Develop and implement brand awareness and demand generation program across channels that generates high quality qualified leads, including:
- Cross channel content program that highlights brand pillars and differentiation (digital, paid, owned, and earned channels, events, etc.)
- Account based marketing program leveraging innovative technology platforms and informed by intent data
- Mid and Lower Funnel Marketing Programs:Ensure leads convert quickly by implementing mid and lower funnel tactics in collaboration with sales:
- Enhancing strategic distribution partner programs
- Creating effective sales collateral and sales assets
- Creating effective product assets, one-pagers and supporting new product launches with assets and sales materials
- Success Measurement:Create a KPI and revenue scorecard and deliver monthly reporting package showing program effectiveness including success, learnings and opportunities to improve.
- Manage marketing budget and shape investment decisions through developing strong business cases and proving results to expand resources and technologies.
- Leadership: Lead and expand a growing team of high performing marketing and technical experts (currently 1 direct report in role, 1 open headcount, additional to be determined on need). Create a long term vision for function and build the organizational structure to support its success.
- Collaborate and Communicate:Work closely with sales, product, finance, and legal to ensure awareness and alignment to work priorities as well as a seamless customer experience; develop strategic communication process to ensure company is valuing work.
- Continuous Improvement:Stay up-to-date life science industry trends, competitive landscape and customer needs, as well as emerging marketing technologies to ensure the company is creating the most effective messaging and marketing programs possible.
- Experience marketing products and solutions to the pharmaceutical manufacturing/bio pharma manufacturing decision makers is a must
- A strong understanding of chemical and solutions applications, a scientific / chemical background with advanced degree (e.g., M.S., Ph.D.), or equivalent experience, is a plus
- 7-plus years of experience in marketing roles, specifically with demand generation and/or product marketing functions; strategy consulting background a plus
- Proven track record of developing and executing marketing strategies that have directly resulted in measurable business growth, including increasing MQLs, SQLs and expansion sales
- A strong entrepreneurial spirit – a focus on continuous improvement, working with an agile approach, and the ability to both create strategy and execute
- Specific experience with modern account-based marketing platforms, techniques and tactics
- Experience leveraging AI to improve marketing results
- Proven ability to collaborate across functions, specifically in working with sales and finance
- Proven ability to tell stories that resonate on an emotional level and tie to business value by driving traffic, awareness, and positive brand perception

About the Role:
We are looking for an exceptional Director of Growth Marketing for our Pharmaceutical segment. This is your opportunity to build high-impact marketing engine for our most critical customer segment, and to drive transformative growth and unlock vast potential at Greenfield Global. We are looking for experienced marketers with entrepreneurial spirit, who want to put their scientific and marketing expertise to use to have a real impact, prove the growth potential, and see their career trajectory launch along the way.
Our Pharma segment supports large and small molecule pharmaceutical manufacturers and their partners, as well as laboratories and medical device manufacturers from around the globe. We provide specialty chemicals, high-purity ethanol solutions and solvents, and custom bioprocessing solutions that our clients depend on to develop and manufacture life-saving products.
With your deep understanding of the bio-pharmaceutical manufacturing process and buyer-panel personas and call points, you will create a full-funnel marketing strategy and work collaboratively to take those programs from concept to implementation and measurement. We will increase brand awareness, generate demand and drive revenue growth by engaging prospects and customers across the lifecycle.
This highly visible role reports directly to the Global Head of Marketing and is skip-level to the CEO and will eventually manage a team of 3 direct reports plus have the opportunity to build a structure to deliver their strategy.
Success in this role will be measured by quantifiable outcomes, including increased MQLs and SQLs, and pipeline/opportunity, as well as engagement KPIs across the funnel.
