    We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Construction Project Manager to join our team on-site for a client based in the Long Beach, CA region.


    Position Details:

    Full-time


    Schedule:
    Monday to Friday (on-site)


    Salary Range:
    $170,000 to $200,000


    Level:
    Senior


    Qualifications:
    Demonstrated senior-level project leadership
    20+ years of experience in public works projects
    Proficiency in Design-Build and/or Progressive Design-Build methodologies
    Preferred experience in institutional or higher education projects, with CSU experience being advantageous
    Ability to oversee and lead design and construction teams

    Responsibilities:
    Manage the Design and Construction process
    Lead project collaboration efforts from initial planning to closeout, ensuring effective leadership throughout the project lifecycle
    Prepare, manage, and support documentation required for post-performance reviews, audits, or inspections
    Monitor contract budgets, reconcile contracts, and report on monthly cash flow activities
    Guide design decisions to maintain project scope within approved budgets, coordinating the value engineering process
    Prepare schematic, preliminary, and construction document submittals for review
    Assist in the preparation of presentation materials for committee meetings and executive-level presentations
    Procure required plan reviews prior to bidding, ensuring compliance with regulations and authorities having jurisdiction

    Requirements:
    Minimum five years of proven working experience in construction management
    Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means, and methods
    Expertise in building products, construction details, and relevant regulations and quality standards
    Familiarity with construction management software
    Experience in education-building infrastructure and DSA codes and procedures
    Leadership, human resources management, time management, and project management skills
    Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
