- Plan and direct programs for the Respiratory Therapy department, setting goals and objectives.
- Establish and maintain clinical performance standards.
- Collaborate with medical directors to provide respiratory therapy services.
- Manage departmental budgets and ensure optimal equipment and supply inventory.
- Foster a positive work environment and professional development among staff.
- Act as a liaison between the department, the hospital, and the community.
- Anticipate and resolve operational issues.
- Handle staff management including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Perform other assigned duties.

We are currently seeking a Manager of Respiratory Therapy to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the respiratory therapy department, ensuring quality care for patients of all age groups. Your leadership will be crucial in maintaining clinical standards, developing innovative programs, and fostering professional growth among staff.
Responsibilities
Education: Degree in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent experience; MBA or MHA preferred.
Experience: Five or more years of clinical practice.
Licensure: Current CT license as a Respiratory Therapist.
Special Skills: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, analytical ability, change management expertise, and ability to prioritize effectively.
