Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Cayuse Commercial Services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general radiology, portable, and fluoroscopic procedures, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

Perform general radiology, portable, and fluoroscopic procedures (GIs, GUs, pediatrics, arthrograms, spine center).
Produce images of optimal quality for interpretation with accuracy and without delay.
Maintain documentation requirements to ensure that all technical data is entered timely and accurately.
Notify management and take proper action to address equipment malfunctions.
Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exam to ensure understanding and cooperation.
Ensure patients' comfort and safety during and after the exam.
Assist with scheduling patient procedures.
Monitor and determine priority of patients.
Demonstrate care and operation of Radiology equipment according to technical specifications and applications.
Assist Radiologist with fluoroscopic, GU, GI, and pediatric procedures.
Acquire, archive, transmit, and print images.
Capable of after hours transmission of images and appropriate paperwork.
Report immediately any malfunctions to help desk and Administrator.
Process billing.
Provide instruction and mentoring to new hires and Radiology students.
Continually strive to learn new technical information and skills through attendance of periodic in-service programs and participation in professional affiliation sessions.
Potentially rotate through all diagnostic imaging modalities, sites, and/or locations.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
Must be a Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R.T.(R) (ARRT), in good standing.
Current state licensure required prior to employment.
(BLS) certification required.

Physical Requirements:

Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time.
Must be able to lift or assist with lifting patients of varying weight and manipulate equipment daily.
