Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Physician Assistant role located in St. Louis, MO. The Physician Assistant will work under the supervision of a licensed physician to provide comprehensive healthcare services, including performing physical examinations, diagnosing and treating illnesses, ordering and interpreting tests, and counseling patients on preventive healthcare. The role is to ensure optimal patient outcomes and maintaining accurate medical records. The ideal candidate will also support in patient education and take an active role in promoting a culture of compassionate care.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical skills, including physical examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and medical decision-making
- Experience with diagnostic testing, ordering labs, interpreting results, and managing patient care
- Effective patient communication, counseling, and education skills
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance, and electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Possession of a current state license to practice as a Physician Assistant in Missouri
- Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Previous experience in a clinical setting or internal medicine a plus
