    Description

    We are excited to be looking for an experienced and talented candidate to join the growing AVI healthcare market in Ohio. Currently we are looking for the right candidate to complement the successful team as a Full-timeRegistered Clinical Dietitian at Apostolic Christian Village in Rittman, Ohio. Starting pay is up to $35.00/hr (based on experience and qualifications). This position will manage all clinical activities, supervise the kitchen team and manage the electronic record.

    Position Overview

    • The Clinical Dietitian works closely with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to provide nutrition services and medical nutrition therapy.

    • The Clinical Dietitian conducts and documents nutrition assessment, intervention, and ongoing monitoring and evaluation, including nutrition-focused physical exams.

    • The Clinical Dietitian educates the patient and/or appropriate family member(s), serves as a nutrition educator for the other healthcare professionals, department employees, and acts as a nutrition resource for the community.

    • The Clinical Dietitian manages resources in a cost-effective manner; participates in performance improvement efforts; and maintains professional competency and skills required for professional practice.

    • The Clinical Dietitian participates in various interdisciplinary teams and fosters continuity of care across all stages of the healthcare system.

    • Oversite of electronic medical record.

    • Supervise kitchen activities.



    Requirements:

    • Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition Dietetics from an approved/accredited university or college program

    • Ideal candidates must also be a Registered Dietitian (RD) through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and licensed to practice in the state in which they work

    • Comprehensive knowledge and application of nutrition services

    • Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form to patients, public, team members and hospital staff

    • Ability to function independently and to counsel and educate others

    • General knowledge of nutrient analysis required

    • Ability to work and be a part of the operation and clinical teams

    • Experience with word processing and spreadsheet software

    • ServSafe Certification is preferred
