    1st Shift position available to work on the campus of MBUSI.

    Salary Range:
    $55,000 - $60,000 Annually w/Bonus Potential

    Basic Functions:

    Four-year college or university program certificate, or two to four years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.



    Responsibilities:

    Actively participate in program teams and facilitate the communication and interaction amongst the functional representatives.
    Must be proficient in Excel, Visio, and Power point.
    Must be articulate and able to represent ARD on his/her own with customer.
    Continuous improvement –in plant (Kaizen) required.
    Conduct time study analysis and optimize line process flow/efficiency.
    Preparation of equipment, facility, and assembly area CAD layouts.
    Is responsible for completion of various additional projects and/or assignments as assigned by senior management.
    Obtains all required authorizations for tooling and equipment procurement as needed for assigned projects.
    Control product quality through development and use of SMP Audits, FMEA's control plans, flow charts, and solid problem-solving skills.
    Create computerized graphs / reports that clearly demonstrate quality characteristics. Maintain documentation accurately between Process Flows, PFMEA's, Control Plans, and ODS's.
    Maintain flexibility in ability to adjust to changes in job requirements and hours, while completing other functions daily without fail
    Report to Corporate Project Quality/Engineering Manager to keep all informed of issues.
    Maintain 5S in work area.
    Incorporate safe working procedures into all daily activities in and around facility.
    Visit customers/suppliers as requested.
    All other tasks as assigned by Corporate Project Quality/Engineering Manager
    Read blueprints.
    Performs functional quality tests, as required.
    Authority and responsibility to stop the production line should a safety or quality issue appears.

    Identifies opportunities for Continuous Improvement, ensures that Continuous Improvement activities are planned, implemented, measured, reported, and reviewed in the respective area of responsibility.

    Required Qualifications

    Must have Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or closely related.
    Experience in an automotive supplier is desired.
    Demonstrated knowledge of CAD systems.

    Must be a strong planner with the ability to multi-task and disseminate information effectively to all levels of the organization.

    General knowledge of new project launch support.
    General knowledge of operations, including scheduling, procurement, manufacturing, test engineering, and quality systems.

    Analytical/Interpersonal Skills:

    Ability to understand, track, drill-down, and question activities and issues in all functional areas and make sound business decisions based upon that data.

    Strong presentation skills.
    Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills.

    Has the authority to stop production if defective or unsafe parts or condition appear. Has the authority to reject non-conforming material from the supplier. Is empowered to prevent non-conforming material from reaching the customer.
