    Description

    At Krispy Kreme, we're dedicated to creating an exceptional doughnut experience. This begins with maintaining immaculate food safety and sanitation standards throughout the production process.

    Key Responsibilities

    • FOLLOW A SEVEN-STEP SANITATION PROCESS TO ENSURE OUR DOUGHNUT FACTORY MEETS THE HIGHEST FOOD SAFETY STANDARDS
    • MODEL PROPER SANITATION PRACTICES, INCLUDING CLEANING AND STORING MATERIALS, AND SELECTING APPROPRIATE CHEMICALS FOR VARIOUS CLEANING STAGES
    • ENSURE THE DOUGHNUT FACTORY OPERATES IN A CLEAN ENVIRONMENT BY COMPLETING THE INSPECTION, SWEEPING/FLUSHING, WASHING, RINSING, SANITIZING, RINSE OR AIR DRY, AND VALIDATING STEPS

    Additional Duties

    YOU WILL ASSIST WITH PACKING DOUGHNUTS OR PARTICIPATE IN MAKING THEM WHEN NECESSARY. YOU WILL ALSO HELP MAINTAIN CLEANING SUPPLIES, KEEP THEM STOCKED, ON-HAND, AND ORGANIZED. OTHER TASKS MAY INCLUDE CARRYING AND LIFTING BOXES OR CLEANING SUPPLIES, SWEEPING, MOPPING, SANITIZING EQUIPMENT, AND SUPPORTING OTHER AREAS OF THE FACTORY.

    Requirements

    • 2-4 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN FOOD MANUFACTURING OR SIMILAR ENVIRONMENTS, FOCUSING ON SANITATION WORK
    • ABILITY TO READ AND PERFORM BASIC MATH TO DOCUMENT WORK
    • PHYSICAL ABILITY TO LIFT UP TO 25 POUNDS REGULARLY AND OCCASIONALLY UP TO 50 POUNDS
    • DEPENDABILITY AND MOBILITY IN A DYNAMIC FACTORY ENVIRONMENT

    Work Environment

    THE DOUGHNUT FACTORY CAN BE WARM AND NOISY DUE TO EQUIPMENT OPERATION. YOU WILL NEED TO ADAPT TO THESE CONDITIONS WHILE MAINTAINING ATTENTION TO DETAIL AND FOLLOWING PROCEDURES.
