    Summary

    This position will provide counsel and guidance to various levels of line management in the areas of: (1) workforce planning and development, (2) organizational effectiveness and (3) to help ensure the Company's programs are administered consistently and comply with applicable Federal, State and local statutes and regulations. Areas of specialty include employee and labor relations, leave administration, recruiting, workforce planning and organizational design and development.

    Key Roles & Responsibilities
    • Establish and maintain effective partnerships with business management and gain an understanding of business objectives, operations, and financial drivers and how they support Oncor's overall strategy.
    • Designs and implements effective HR solutions for assigned business function(s).
    • Partner with Business management in their short, medium and long range strategic and tactical planning.
    • Applies expertise in resolving more complex problems and issues.
    • Monitor and report on workforce and succession planning as well as advanced workforce analytics.
    • Applies critical thinking towards existing processes and recommends/implements process improvements.
    • Consult with business management to help ensure consistent application of HR policies across the Company.
    • Conduct investigations into allegations of employee misconduct, and partner with business management and Legal to determine and implement appropriate corrective actions.
    • Support line management in the tactical execution of the Company's Labor Relations Strategy and assist in the administration of the current Labor Agreement.
    • Assist Legal in the preparation of the Company's cases in employment-related litigation (EEOC, Worker's Compensation, and Federal and State courts).
    • Acts as a resource to colleagues with less experience.
    • Conduct all HR activities in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and local regulations and ordinances.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
    • Works independently, requiring only minimal guidance.
    Education, Experience & Skills
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, or Business or equivalent relevant experience; advanced degree preferred.
    • SHRM-SCP and/or SPHR is required
    • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
    Experience & Skills
    • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex scenarios and reach conclusions.
    • In-depth knowledge across a broad range of HR disciplines including: Total Rewards, Organizational Design, Organizational Effectiveness, Leave Administration (Workers Comp, FMLA, Salary Continuation, and LTD programs), Staffing & Recruiting, Employee Relations and Labor Relations.
    • Knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and local employment regulations.
    • Demonstrated success in project management.
    • Knowledge of research methods and tools.
    • Proficiency in business communications both written and oral.
    • Frequent travel between Company facilities.
    • Labor Relations experience preferred.
    • Five years relevant experience is required.
