- Primary duties include to load and unload trucks; organize and rotate inventory orders; monitor warehouse temperatures and assist in inventory reconciliation.
- Receive and process product orders, review inbound documentation, product receipt and reconciliation.
- Assemble and stage product orders for presale and onboard sales routes.
- Ensure proper food handling procedures.
- Organize and rotate product in warehouse cooler or freezer to prevent spoilage.
- Report and follow up Product Quality complaints and ensure the product is blocked in SAP and physically hold in the warehouse.
- Assist in weekly bad conditions reconciliation and upload documentation to the shared folder.
- Process and document product returns and disposal of outdated product.
- Report to warehouse management cooler and freezer repair requirements, material handling equipment maintenance requirements and pallet disposal and or acquisition.
- Monitor warehouse temperatures.
- Perform equipment inspections.
- Minimum of One (1) years of Warehouse Order Picker in a Freezer Environment.
- Experience and certification with materials handling equipment and experience with order picking in food products.
- 80% of the time is spent working in the cooler pulling or picking product.
- Remaining 20% of time is spent on cleaning cooler & warehouse
- Must be bilingual - English & Spanish speaking
- Electric Pallet Jack (80-90%); Forklift (less than 15%).
- Forklift is used to remove pallets from 2nd & 3rd level shelves.
- Electric Pallet jack is usually used to pick products from shelves and racks.
- Able to stand for a full shift of at least 8 hours and climb up/down, in/out of truck body.
- Repeatedly lift and move 30 pound boxes/buckets on/off shelves or cart/hand-truck and also repeatedly turn, twist, kneel, stoop, stand, rotate, bend, push or pull
- HS Diploma or GED
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish reading, writing & speaking.
- Able to work in a cold environment of approximately 34°ree; F for prolonged periods of time.
