- Maintains patient care documentation in the electronic medical record. Practices within the paramedic scope of practice under medical command.
- Communicates educational needs to supervisors and participates in ongoing training.
- Maintains Pennsylvania Department of Health medical command status.
- Acquires required credential within one year of hire.
- Assists in maintaining equipment and supplies used by Life Flight.
- Ensures cleanliness and organization of medical interior in helicopters.
- Participates in safety briefings, preflight, and post-flight debriefings.
- Acts as a preceptor for new employees and students.
- Maintains awareness of current issues related to paramedics.

Provides Critical Care Transport Paramedic (CCTP) level of care to Life Flight patients in conjunction with the Flight Nurse. The Critical Care Transport Paramedic functions in Geisinger Emergency Departments, assisting health care providers in delivering care to patients. Qualified to provide care for patients of all ages.
Job Duties
