The Color Control Specialist plays a key role in ensuring our customers receive beautifully printed color accurate work every time.This is a hands-on detail focused position where your expertise in color communication and problem-solving helps deliver high-quality results Japs-Olson Co.
Responsibilities
- Verify color accuracy during make-ready production using visual inspection measurement tools ensure alignment with proofs swatches customer brand standards.
- Conduct support customer press checks communicate color expectations variances document feedback for production teams serve as Premedia primary resource for color-related questions technical guidance including calibration support.
- CALIBRATE AND MAINTAIN ALL PROOFING PLATING SYSTEMS MONITOR DOCUMENT COLOR PROCESSES USING ACCURATE DATA TO SUPPORT CONSISTENCY QUALITY CONTROL DECISION-MAKING COLLABORATE WITH PREMEDIA PRESSROOM QUALITY TEAMS RESOLVE COLOR ISSUES CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT RECOMMEND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS ADDRESS ISO RELATED FINDINGS ENSURE COLOR MANAGEMENT PRACTICES MEET INTERNAL ISO QUALITY STANDARDS MAINTAIN COLOR LOGS CALIBRATION RECORDS APPROVAL NOTES OTHER QUALITY DOCUMENTATION DEVELOP FACILITATE COLOR THEORY TRAINING FOR PRODUCTION DEPARTMENTS
