SAP and a Salesforce based portal will be utilized on a daily basis - previous experience or familiarity with these tools is nice to have, but the contractor can be trained
Technology or semiconductor industry experience is nice to have, but this team is very operationally focused, and the contractor does not need to have a technical background

Job Description
The Customer Operation Assistant supports routine customer account operations through order entry, maintenance and subsequent actions to ensure reporting, accurate status, and reverse logistics occur according to client policy and agreements.
Receive customer purchase order information and enter requests into SAP in accordance with operational procedures and service level agreements
Process order related data from customer and client requests efficiently and accurately into various systems
Understand terms, conditions and account instructions for each customer in order to change, cancel, or maintain orders
Communicate complete order entry and returns procedures and requirements to a customer
Understand Return Material Authorization (RMA) process and tools to properly create and route returns from customers to AMD
Create and refresh basic reports and forward to required individuals and teams
Adhering to and enforcing operational procedures
Administers global processes and reports
Responsible for supporting strategic and complex customers
Qualifications And Requirements
Education:
Secondary school graduate or equivalent; 1-2 years of related experience preferred
Ability to work within a diverse global team with members that will have varying job functions and communicate among teams
Data accuracy, and attention to detail in regard to time sensitive work
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, especially Excel) required
Knowledge of order management systems (SAP) preferred
Ability to manage several unique customers with specific service requirements
Organizational skills and experience administrating multi-step processes
Role is for an in office position
