ssociate Director, U.S. Data Strategy in Jersey City, New Jersey (FTE for RBC)
Hybrid - 2 days onsite, rest of the days Hybrid.

Salary: $170K+ 15% bonus and The Firm contributes 15% to an Employee retirement plan

TIPS/FOCUS from the Hiring Manager:
This is a role that needs to simultaneously manage two areas:

Enterprise Data Management
1. Strong hands-on knowledge of SQL server
2. Knowledge and experience with Mastering, matching rules process
3. Knowledge and experience with Mastering tool such as Markit EDM or similar
4. Be able to run complex queries and reports for analysis

Enterprise Data Governance
1. Familiarity with Data Cataloging, Business Glossary, Data Lineage
2. Experience working with a platform/product that help with Data Governance (Collibra preferred)
3. Experience with Data Governance policies, Data Quality controls, Data Quality rules.
4. Experience working with a platform/product that help with Data Quality rules (Datactics preferred)

Other skills required for Lead Technologist role:

• bility to independently (with minimal guidance) manage Data Governance projects. Organize recurring project meetings with business and technical stakeholders, Data stewards, data custodians.
• Set meeting agenda and publish meeting minutes
• Create and maintain Business and technical requirement documents
• Create and maintain current and future state business process and data flow diagrams as required for each project
• Clear communication at meetings with senior leadership
• Transparency with risks, blockers, issues encountered during the project
