- Responsible for assigned duties involving the analysis of customer prints and tool quotation requests, the preparation of tool
- Will ensure that new tools are designed and built- in accordance with our requirements and allow for a robust and reliable
- Conduct design and preliminary tool reviews to insure consensus of the multi-disciplinary team.
- Place tool purchase order, expedite, follow up by appropriate visits to tooling sources, and become completely familiar with tooling
- Conduct pre-sampling and post-sampling meetings with project team members.
- Advise the Project Manager as to customer approval, or necessity for deviation. Follow up promptly to minimize delays to assure
- Assist Sales in design related projects such as,
- Prototyping new parts and providing design recommendations
- Metal to plastic conversion
- Identifying new opportunities through design change and developing the piece part design
- Identify sources for design, build and prototyping activities
- Perform mold simulation analysis utilizing Moldex 3D.

- Sometimes sit, use keyboard.
- Occasionally stand, bend at the waist, twist/turn, kneel/crouch, climb.
- Occasionally lift below and above the waist, lift above the shoulder, push, pull up to 30lbs.
- Occasionally use manipulative finger and foot movement, repetitive hand/wrist movement, squeeze up to 30 lbs.
- Occasionally be exposed to fumes, odors, dusts, oil/grease, humidity.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Plastics Technology, or completion of a related apprenticeship or a 2- year technical degree plus
- 3-5 years of plastic mold injection experience.
- Strong computer skills in CAD (preferably SolidWorks) Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Overall understanding of numerous raw materials (PP, ABS, Acetel, Nylon).
- Strong communication skills and professional demeanor with customers, suppliers, and co-workers.
- Highly energetic with a positive attitude.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to travel both domestically and internationally when necessary

is hiring for "Project Engineer"
The Project Engineer will control the build of new programs from initial quoting and into production. He/she will also be required to provide design assistance to our customers. The Project Engineer is responsible for the timely completion and proper debug of the tooling builds.
