    General Surgery Locums Job in Oregon Clinic + 24-Hour Call Beginning March 16, 2026 Ongoing Assignment Open Dates March 23, 8:00am 5:00pm (clinic) March 24, 5:30am 5:30am (clinic + call) March 25, 5:30am 5:30am (clinic + call) March 26, 5:30am 5:30am (clinic + call) March 27, 5:30am 5:30am (call only) March 28, 5:30am 5:30am (call only) April 20 April 23, 8:00am 5:00pm (clinic) April 24, 5:30am 5:30am (call only) Shift Description Monday Friday clinic, 8:00am 5:00pm 24-hour call while on assignment (5:30am 5:30am) 7 10 day block scheduling available for up to one year Weekly schedule includes clinic, OR blocks, and 24/7 call Weekend coverage is 24-hour call Average callback hours: 7.8 (weekday), 6.7 (weekend) Requirements Board Certification Oregon license Fellowship ACLS BLS DEA Clean malpractice Highly Preferred Required Procedures / Skills Diagnostic colonoscopies Screening colonoscopies Cholecystectomy Hernia repair with mesh Diagnostic EGD Excision of breast Abdominal wall repair with synthetic substitute Appendectomy Skin excision Hemorrhoidectomy Assignment Details Reason for coverage: Retirement Providers must function as full-time staff Setting: Acute care + clinic Support: Full hospital staff + clinic RN/MAs Must respond to traumas in ED Trauma activations include: falls, MVCs, motorcycle accidents, stabbings, crush injuries, GSW, assaults, ATV incidents Approx. 500 surgeries annu
