    Description

    A highly reagrded private equity firm is seeking a Senior Paralegal, with strong Real Estate experience to join their team. The ideal candidate would be highly motivated and enjoy working in

    a small team environment.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist the legal team with preparing various regulatory filings.
    • Assist the legal team with corporate governance matters (including coordinating board and committee meetings, drafting and posting board materials, and maintaining books and records)
    • Assist the real estate acquisitions team with the 3rd party reports during due diligence (including commissioning, reviewing and clearing the title, survey, and zoning reports).
    • Assist with the deal closing processes
    • Assist with entity management process.
    • Assist with review, tracking and managing contracts

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or Paralegal certificate
    • 7-10 years experience (including real estate experience, title and survey review)
    • Independent worker with strong organizational skills
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
