    Adult & Child Health is an integrated healthcare provider in Central Indiana. Providing high-quality, affordable care including primary care, behavioral health services, substance abuse treatment, mobile crisis response, community-based services, homeless outreach, school-based treatment, and more.

    About this role: As an access screener you will be answering phones and Calling referrals to help new clients get quick access to mental health services. This position is the first step in obtaining mental health treatment, because of this, it is imperative that an access screener has knowledge of mental health conditions and crisis de-escalation.     The Location and hours: A&C is based in Central Indiana. For this position, we service the following county: Marion

    Hours are M-F 8-4pm or 9-5pm with flexible scheduling available.

    Responsibilities include but not limited to:

    • Answer phone calls of interested new clients.
    • Screen new clients for insurance, behavioral health needs, and assess for risk.
    • Process referrals from community partners, screen clients, and schedule for services.
    Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in behavioral health or related field
    • One (1) year of work-related behavioral health experience (internships and/or volunteer experience can count toward one year experience requirement)
    • Must hold a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and provide own, insured, transportation
