Responsibilities
- Perform repairs and maintenance per work orders efficiently and accurately
- Diagnose and repair automotive systems: engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C
- Test-drive vehicles and use advanced diagnostic tools
- Communicate with Service Advisors regarding additional repairs and time estimates
- Complete warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of Service Technician experience required
- Certified General Motors Technician Preferred
- ASE Certification Preferred
- Strong diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to learn new technology and operate electronic diagnostic equipment
