    Chem Lab Manager Description

    Our client, a leader in the electroplating industry, is seeking a Chem Lab Manager to join their team in Huntington Beach, CA.

    In this role, you will manage the laboratory's daily operations, ensuring the highest safety and quality standards are met.

    Candidates should bring at least 5 years of experience in the chemistry field or a minimum of one year in electroplating.

    Chem Lab Manager Responsibilities


    Manage daily lab activities to support production schedules


    Ensure chemicals used for manufacturing are within specifications


    Maintain equipment, calibration, and safety standards


    Supervise and mentor lab staff


    Implement quality control and continuous improvement practices


    Evaluate and optimize electroplating processes for efficiency


    Support R&D initiatives and troubleshooting efforts


    Monitor analytical results for accuracy


    Manage budgets, supplies, and vendor relations to support manufacturing


    Maintain compliance with industry regulations
    Chem Lab Manager Qualifications


    5+ years in the chemistry industry or 1+ years in electroplating experience required


    Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field required


    Knowledgeable with laboratory management, safety, and quality control required


    Leadership experience required


    Ability to work onsite required
