- Prepares food items according to our standards of quality, consistency, and timelines.
- Ensures compliance with all health codes and requirements.
- Maintains stocking (re-stocking) and organization of work area daily.
- Operates equipment safely determined by position and OSHA regulations.
- Use knives correctly while chopping, cutting, dicing, etc.
- Completes prep tasks as needed in accordance with recipe, procedure, quality, and speed standards.
- Contributes to positive food costs by utilizing established best practices.
- Responds to additional guest requests by preparing orders to their specifications.
- Maintains food storage, receiving, stocking, and rotation.
- Works closely and communicates with both BOH and FOH team members at a high pace.
- Follows all relevant brand standards.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
- Must have prior cooking experience.
- Experience and knowledge of kitchen equipment including but not limited to knives, slicer, mixer, salamander, stoves, ovens, Hobart, broiler, and pizza oven desired.
- Must be 18 years of age to operate mandated equipment.
- Meets all company standards regarding food quality and food safety.
- Demonstrates teamwork with coworkers.
- Maintains an upbeat, guest-first, positive attitude.
- Maintains a clean and organized workstation.
- Must be able to walk and stand during the entire shift.
- Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, and wipe.
- Must be able to carry/lift 10-50 lbs.
