    Description
    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Prepares food items according to our standards of quality, consistency, and timelines.
    • Ensures compliance with all health codes and requirements.
    • Maintains stocking (re-stocking) and organization of work area daily.
    • Operates equipment safely determined by position and OSHA regulations.
    • Use knives correctly while chopping, cutting, dicing, etc.
    • Completes prep tasks as needed in accordance with recipe, procedure, quality, and speed standards.
    • Contributes to positive food costs by utilizing established best practices.
    • Responds to additional guest requests by preparing orders to their specifications.
    • Maintains food storage, receiving, stocking, and rotation.
    • Works closely and communicates with both BOH and FOH team members at a high pace.
    • Follows all relevant brand standards.
    • Other duties as assigned by management.

    Education & Experience:
    • Must have prior cooking experience.
    • Experience and knowledge of kitchen equipment including but not limited to knives, slicer, mixer, salamander, stoves, ovens, Hobart, broiler, and pizza oven desired.
    • Must be 18 years of age to operate mandated equipment.

    Performance Standards:
    • Meets all company standards regarding food quality and food safety.
    • Demonstrates teamwork with coworkers.
    • Maintains an upbeat, guest-first, positive attitude.
    • Maintains a clean and organized workstation.
    • Must be able to walk and stand during the entire shift.
    • Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, and wipe.
    • Must be able to carry/lift 10-50 lbs.
