    Business Development Specialist

    to join our dynamic Sales department in Linthicum, MD.

    In this role, you will collaborate with key internal members of the sales and marketing team contributing to our mission to help make life better and safer for current and future generations.

    Responsibilities:
    Generate and qualify leads to contribute to system order sales.
    Engage in customer outreach activities to generate leads and move them through the marketing pipeline.
    Connect with prospects through various outbound channels to understand their needs.
    Develop relationships with potential customers by providing relevant information about GERSTEL sample preparation and introduction systems.
    Utilize excellent interpersonal and customer service skills to effectively engage with customers.
    Demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to address customer needs.
    Communicate effectively with staff, customers, and vendors, both verbally and in writing.
    Utilize networking skills to establish connections and expand the customer base.
    Utilize social media platforms to support lead generation and relationship building.
    Demonstrate aptitude for cold calling and establishing quick rapport with potential customers.
    Utilize excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey information clearly and persuasively.
    Other duties as assigned.

    Minimum Requirements:
    Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Chemistry or a relevant field.
    Laboratory experience with GC-MS is preferred.
    Aptitude for scientific and technical subjects.
    Ability to effectively utilize social media platforms.
    Strong aptitude for cold calling and establishing quick rapport.
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    1-2 years of relevant experience preferred
