    Description

    Inventory Management Specialist

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Monitor receiving reports for accuracy and material condition. Input received items into the inventory management system.
    • Conduct physical inventory assessments when necessary and update the system accordingly.
    • Collaborate with corporate and site teams on transportation, purchasing, and inventory control to ensure timely and accurate material flow.
    • Prepare inventory reports for leadership and sales teams.
    • Add new raw materials to the inventory.
    • Deliver accurate work to both internal and external customers.
    • Manage customer-specific inventory by coordinating with procurement and sales.
    • Handle return authorizations and maintain stock levels.
    • Conduct daily inventory counts and adjust quantities as needed.
    • Identify and address receiving and inventory discrepancies.
    • Review job travelers for material accuracy.
    • Oversee stock reorder processes and assist in locating required materials.
    • Coordinate with vendors and purchasing departments to expedite material delivery.
    • Work with the corporate office to evaluate inventory status and develop depletion strategies for excess items.
    • Generate purchase orders and manage subcontracting systems.
