- Collaborate with school personnel to assess students' physical therapy needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' functional limitations.
- Provide direct physical therapy services to students, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and assistive device training.
- Monitor students' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other members of the educational team to ensure coordinated care.
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) from an accredited program.
- Valid Michigan PTA license.
- CPR certification.
- Minimum of one year of experience working as a PTA in a school or pediatric setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
