**MISSION**
To support Purchasing activities for non-production materials and services and support regional Purchasing initiatives.
**Responsibilities & Activities**
**Responsibility 1:**
Pass along purchasing rules
Change workflows for new management
Upload hard savings to TopShare (CSD) and create a workflow for finance approval
Upload Ideas into Wave
Complete buyer scorecard
Financial improvement letters
Support other buyers
Send out scope of work for projects
Develop facilities commodity strategy
Manage non-production suppliers
Support plant goals in cost, quality, delivery, etc.
Help optimize the supply base and manage and resolve supplier issues
**Responsibility 2:**
Complete Top Safety Visits
Complete LPA audits
**Responsibility 3:**
Authority and responsibility to stop production when a quality or safety issue arises
Work requires walking, talking, seeing, hearing, sitting, climbing, bending, stooping, grasping, crouching, pushing, balancing, reaching, kneeling, and standing
Must be able to lift up to 33lbs on a regular basis
Work requires working under high and low temperatures at certain times
**PROFILE REQUIREMENTS**
**Personal Background**
College Degree Preferred (Business or technical degree) or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 1 year of experience in Purchasing preferred
Must be authorized to work in the United States without the requirement for sponsorship or transfer of Visa now or at any time in the future
**Job Technical skills**
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Proficient in SAP
Ability to collect, maintain, and analyze data
Ability to create and present sourcing documentation to Global purchasing department
Ability to follow all buyer responsibilities and rules in respect to the job and sourcing documentation
Demonstrated negotiation ability within a manufacturing environment
Preferred understanding of accrual based accounting practices

Excellent organizational skills
Proven ability to work in a team environment
Ability to interact with all levels of the Organization
