Daycare Teacher

Job Duties:

• Plan and implement appropriate early childhood education experiences
• Gear the program to the needs of the individual children with concern for their interests, special talents, individual style, and pace of learning.
• Supervise all activities to ensure safety.
• Maintain knowledge of and compliance with city and state regulations governing Childcare programs.
• Create and implement educational programs that stimulate learning and social growth in children.
• Support student success by creating an optimum learning environment.
• Model employability skills and demonstrate professionalism.
• Develop cooperative work relationships with other faculty and staff.

Requirements: A minimum of a high school diploma

Preferred:

• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field from an accredited college or university
• NC Early Childhood Credentials
• Medical Report, TB screening (needs to be completed before the first day of work)
• SID training (within two months of employment)
• At least one year of related job experience in a licensed childcare facility.
