Government Relations is seeking an Analyst to join their team.
The Analyst will support the Government Relations team with researching, monitoring, analyzing, and evaluating federal, state and local legislative and regulatory issues and their impact.
Responsibilities:
Providing analysis, writing and editing support on policy memos and external communications.
Supporting editing/development of content/messaging (written docs, grassroots);
Conducting research and analyzing important policy issues for further dissemination and analysis.
Supporting thought-leadership opportunities and presentation development.
Coordinating and preparing for visits with Federal, State and City government and elected officials.
Supporting with special projects.
Work in close collaboration with Public Affairs and Marketing colleagues to develop and coordinate external and internal messaging.
Qualifications:
Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who work well in a team-driven working group, are highly motivated, intelligent, have sound judgment and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors.
The successful candidate must have:
1 + years of experience within Financial Services, or Political Science
Strong personal integrity and drive
Meticulous attention to detail
Proactive and resourceful; able to multi-task and focus on delivering results.
A track record in successful relationship building and policy advocacy.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to distill complex technical information into clear messages that resonate with policy and regulatory audiences

Expected annual base salary range:
$85,000 - $110,000
Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location.
For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
Additional compensation:
Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
