Welder/FabricatorAn established manufacturer is looking for a Welder/Fabricator to join the team at its Contoocook, NH facility. Previous welding/fabricating experience or training is required. This great first shift role can lead to a direct hire for the right candidate
Responsibilities of the Welder/Fabricator
Perform Mig, Tig, and Stick welding of parts used to assemble sawmill machinery and equipment
Follow blueprints and drawings and take measurements to plan layout and procedures
Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements
Set up components for welding according to specifications
Other related duties as assigned
Qualifications of the Welder/Fabricator
Minimum 1 year of welding/fabricating experience or training is required
Must be able to read and interpret blueprints
Ability to bring personal protective equipment and prove welding capability during interview
Working knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems is a plus
