- Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent and detect security threats, suspicious activity, or unauthorized access.
- Maintain a visible and professional presence to deter potential security incidents.
- Conduct routine security checks of the property, including buildings, parking lots, and common areas.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies and take appropriate action to address and resolve them.
- Ensure compliance with access control procedures, verifying the identity and authorization of individuals entering the property.
- Report security violations, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to the appropriate authorities and supervisors.
- Provide assistance and support to guests and employees during security-related situations.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and emergency services when necessary.
- Monitor and operate security equipment, such as surveillance cameras and access control systems.
- Conduct inspections to ensure that safety and security equipment is in working order.
- Enforce property rules and regulations to maintain a secure and orderly environment.
- Prepare incident reports and maintain accurate logs of security-related activities.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance security skills and knowledge.
Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent; additional security training or certifications are a plus.
- Previous experience in security or a related field is beneficial but not required.
- Strong observational and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills for report writing and security equipment operation.
- Customer service orientation and a helpful demeanor.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Understanding of security protocols and procedures.
