    Key Responsibilities:
    Observes press operations and notifies Lead Person of any malfunctions.
    Examines finished part for nicks, burrs, and cracks.
    Weighs parts on scale and measures dimensions to ensure conformance to specifications.

    Makes necessary adjustments to machine to ensure quality outputDocument production information such as lot number, number of pieces, and date/time of production.

    Measures completed workpieces to verify conformance to specifications, using micrometers, gauges, or calipers.

    Examines completed work pieces for defects, such as chipped edges or marred surfaces, and sorts defective piecesStarts machines, monitors machine operation and records operational data.

    Read work orders or production schedules to determine specifications, such as materials to be used, dimensions, and tolerances.
    Position guides, stops, holding blocks, or other fixtures to secure and direct workpieces, using hand tools and measuring devices.

    3rd Shift, Sunday
    • Thursday 10:00 PM 6:00 AM.

    Key Competencies:


    Knowledge of all required measuring equipment which includes calipers, gaugesProficient math skillsAbility to document machining procedures Knowledge of metals, part-holding fixtures, and lathe/mill toolingExperience in Okuma, Mazak, and Mori lathe machines preferredSimple oral communication skills; ability to read and comprehend instructions written in English and complete simple logs and reports in EnglishPhysically able to handle heavy items, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and positioning componentsWork scheduled hours and comply with the company's timekeeping policy and all other company policiesAbility to work in a non-climate-controlled shop environmentConsistently stand for an entire shiftStrong knowledge of machining practices and materials is a must, as is general mechanical knowledgeWillingness to be trained with a desire to learnAbility to work in a team settingGreat work ethic, reliable, positive attitudeTo perform this job successfully, you must be able to report daily to the company's Paragould, Arkansas branch to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
