    We are seeking a skilled Level 2 Support Technician to join our team in supporting a retirement community. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in desktop and mobile computer operations, network communications, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide in-depth desktop and mobile computer support for the etirement community, ensuring smooth operation of hardware and software systems.
    • Perform installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Office suite, Internet Explorer, and Outlook/Exchange.
    • Deliver excellent customer service to both internal and external customers, resolving issues promptly and effectively.
    • Travel to locations within the region as scheduled and as needed to provide on-site support.
    • Identify and resolve customer issues remotely, demonstrating proficiency in remote troubleshooting techniques.
    • Conduct installation, move, add, and change (IMAC) services for new and upgraded hardware and software.
    • Perform break/fix hardware maintenance for computers, printers, scanners, and peripheral equipment.
    • Diagnose and remediate basic operating issues related to hardware, software, operating systems, and networks.
    • Collaborate with internal and vendor support resources to resolve complex technical problems efficiently.

    Qualifications:

    • Associates degree in Computer Information Technology or related field preferred.
    • Minimum 3 years of prior related experience in desktop support.
    • Professional certification such as HDI Desktop Support Technician, CompTIA A+, or MCSA: Windows 7 preferred.
    • Proficiency in Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Office suite, Internet Explorer, and Outlook/Exchange.
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical users.
    • Ability to provide clear and accurate communication in face-to-face interactions and through remote communication technologies.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Flexibility to travel within the region as required.
