Job summary

We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide exceptional care to individuals from birth to 20 years old with medically complex conditions in our subacute facility.

Responsibilities

  • Follow treatment plan as prescribed by the physical therapist,

  • Have knowledge and skill to treat pediatric patients with complex medical needs including tracheostomies,ventilator support,gastrostomy feeding tube,neurological conditions,congenital abnormalities,
    developmental delays,and traumatic brain injuries.

  • Implement individualized therapy plans to improve strength,rage of motion,positional,mobility,and overall quality of life that have been selected and delegated by
    the supervising physical therapist.

  • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary team members including family,nurses,respiratory therapists,
    occupational and speech therapists,and physicians.
