    Assistant/Associate Professor of Forest Biomaterials


    The University of Georgia's Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Forest Biomaterials. We seek an exceptional candidate who can contribute to our teaching, research, and service missions.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Ph.D. or equivalent degree in forest products, wood science, or a related field.
    • Demonstrated expertise in forest biomaterials, wood science, or a related field.
    • Excellent communication, teaching, and interpersonal skills.
    • A strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Prior experience in teaching, research, and extension at the university level.
    • A strong record of publishing research papers and presenting at conferences.
    • Familiarity with wood processing and product manufacturing technologies.
    • Experience working with industry partners and stakeholders.
