    Our Product Marketing Team is responsible for working directly with users and engineering teams to grow products and product lines through the administration and coordination of a variety of marketing functions and projects; all while maintaining a cooperative relationship with internal and external stakeholders. Our team works directly with end users through interviews, job site visits and field testing, allowing us to understand the work they do day-in and day-out so we can make solutions that help them stay safe and productive. We research, develop, and commercialize disruptive new products to meet company growth goals by participating and interacting with various cross functional teams and departments, owning a product from cradle to grave.

    Your Role on Our Team

    The Sr. Manager of Product Marketing will be responsible for planning, growing, and managing both sales and profitability for the assigned product category. Through communication, team building, and coaching, develop and motivate direct reports and positively influence cross functional teams to meet challenging projects and business objectives.

    You'll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:
    • Lead strategic planning and product development for assigned product categories, delegating tasks and challenging direct reports to defend recommendations.
    • Prioritize new product development aligned with company objectives, coordinating schedules and securing resources.
    • Maintain expertise in product knowledge, market trends, and end-user applications through industry events and interactions.
    • Serve as the focal point for product issue resolution, lead departmental improvement initiatives, and provide category updates to senior management.
    • Drive the initial stages of new product development, including research, analysis, and financial considerations, ensuring customer input throughout the process.
    • Manage product portfolios, implementing strategies for positioning, forecasting, and updates.
    • Develop launch programs, sales materials, and training initiatives, collaborating with advertising and channel management.
    • Participate in customer presentations, trade shows, and industry events to promote product categories.
    • Streamline processes and mentor junior staff in project management and cross-functional teamwork.
    • Initiate and oversee market research plans, analyze findings, and report to senior management.
    • Interact with cross-functional teams to meet objectives and facilitate timely project completion.
    • Periodic travel between 25-30% may be required.
    The TOOLS you'll bring with you:
    • This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related area plus a minimum of 5-7 years experience in a product management role
    • Experience managing complex trade-offs through new product development
    • Experience managing projects through a stage-gate process
    • Ability to define and drive platform level design requirements based on end user needs
    • Accomplished analytic, written, verbal and interpersonal skills plus demonstrated problem solving and decision making abilities required.
    Other TOOLS we prefer you to have:
    • Experience with lithium-ion battery and electrical systems preferred
    • Experience conducting end user and distribution research preferred
