Essential Duties and Responsibilities _
include, but are not limited to:
"Hands On" boat testing required.
Work on product design in a concurrent engineering environment under direction of Testing Engineering Manager
Follow test procedures and equipment set up details.
Testing of components and systems as well as assisting R & D technicians in the testing of components and systems
Communicate with suppliers on component test results.
Communicate with various departments on a global scale.
Communicate testing requirements to outside laboratories when necessary.
Write formal test reports in a timely manner and communicate to engineering team.
Prepare and present test data and results in formal meeting setting.
_
Minimum Educational and Work Qualifications _
Thorough knowledge of engineering practices and principles
Minimum of 1 – 3 Years marine engineering experience is preferred
"Hands On" testing experience is preferred
Ability to learn the use of laboratory and field-testing equipment
Personal computer experience (Word, Excel, Scheduling, PowerPoint)
Must have excellent verbal communication skills
Must have excellent written skills with the ability to communication test data and results in formal report format to multiple companies
Must be able to work within a team environment
Project management and teamwork skills
Ability to work on multiple projects.
