Nanny Job Part-time 25-30 hours per week - Encinitas - 2 year old and baby

A professional family in Encinitas desires a Part-time Nanny for their 2 year old and new baby for Part-time Mon, Tues, Thurs, and Friday - 4 days a week 9am - 7pm - schedule varies

The family is looking for someone with Childcare experience or Child Development courses taken and at least 5+ Years of Nanny Experience.
Position Overview:

• Preference is given to applicants with extensive newborn/toddler care experience.
• Background in daycares or preschools is a plus
• The ideal candidate is sweet, caring, and helpful.
• Understands Sensory play and Arts and Crafts for babies/toddlers.
• Baby sign language would be great. CPR Trained and Certified.
• Covid Vaccinated is a must.

House Manager/Housekeeping Tasks: The family is looking for someone ok with cleaning such as sweeping, mopping, vaccuming, dishes, bedroom and light bath cleaning, organizing and laundry.

• Pay: $28-$32/hour
• Car: needs to have a driver's license to help drive the child around for different occasions.

Newborn/Toddler Nanny Duties:

• At least 3-8 years experience as a Nanny and has worked with toddlers. Degree or courses in Childcare desired.
• Sensory Brain Development and play interaction for babies. Singing and reading, engaging with children. Take baby on walks and to parks. Toddler experience with play and arts and crafts.
• Light Meal Prep and Housekeeping - Help with laundry and dishes, tidying, and sweeping

Requirements:

• Speaking other languages is a plus
• CPR Certified
• Covid Vaccination is a must

Many Newborn/Toddler care specialists function as parent educators, teaching parenting proper and accepted baby care techniques. Newborn care specialists typically are responsible for all the tasks related to the baby's care, including bottle preparation (if needed), light meals, baby laundry and nursery organization.
