The position includes but is not limited to the following essential job duties responsibilities and requirements Provides prompt excellent customer service in a courteous friendly and attentive manner Greets customers as they enter the area and thanks customers as they leave Gives assistance and offers suggestions or recommendations to the customer Rings up all sales on cash register properly and accurately handles money checks and other types of payment received for product sold Performs multi-function operation of fuel console lottery machines money order machine telecom transactions etc Reports to work on time follows the dress appearance code Maintains store facilitys condition equipment Company brand standards by cleaning performing general housekeeping duties Performs multi-function cleaning duties necessary maintain store cleanliness inside out basic upkeep cleaning equipment stores Inspects store facilities equipment safety cleanliness proper working order Notifies Store Manager any equipment failure maintenance supply needs Completes build-tos ordering purchasing merchandise Receives verifies vendor deliveries Maintains adequate stock throughout supplies counter areas rotates stock properly Places advertising pricing signage inside outside facility including marquees ceilings walls windows Controls merchandise cash shortages selling expenses Assists maintaining proper inventory levels shift audits Keeps accurate records accounts variances Notifies Manager sales cash inventory discrepancy Follows guidelines product breakage spoilage Reports incidents employee customer injuries theft property damage improper sanitation waste disposal Manager
