- Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited college or university. Degree in Sports Management, Sports Marketing, Coaching, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Experience organizing and/or leading organized sports programs such as intramurals, recreational sports, or club sports
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to develop and manage tournaments, calendars, and sports schedules
- Experience managing a budget
- Ability to research and review policies and regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
- Valid Driver's license or ability to acquire the same
- Ability to work evenings and weekends
- Master's Degree in a related field from a regionally accredited college or university
- Previous club sport management experience
- Working knowledge of the rules of major sports including trap shooting, archery, and e-sports.
- Experience supervising employees or volunteers
- Experience organizing diverse schedules and working with multiple organizations to achieve a common goal
- Track record of success in program design and management
- Overseeing the overall program, managing finances, ensuring compliance with college policies, engaging in fundraising, supporting Club Sports Advisors, and supporting the student club leaders
- Developing, maintaining, and implementing a comprehensive set of guidelines for club sports participants regarding team conduct, academic eligibility, safety protocols, and other program-specific rules
- Organizing and managing intramural leagues and tournaments
- Regularly seeking feedback from participants through surveys, meetings, and open forums to assess the effectiveness of the program, identify areas for improvement, and address concerns.
- Tracking key performance indicators such as participation rates, member retention, athlete satisfaction, and competitive achievements that will be used to evaluate the success of the program and identify opportunities for growth
- Other duties as assigned. Additional duties include direct and indirect activities to support the recruitment and retention of students.
