    Job Overview

    We are seeking a dedicated Preschool Teacher/Floater to join our organization in Northern Baltimore County.

    This role involves planning and presenting age-appropriate activities for young children, fostering their intellectual and creative growth.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Instruct preschool-aged children in engaging activities designed to promote cognitive and artistic development.
    • Create a safe, supportive, and enjoyable learning environment that encourages exploration and discovery.
    • Develop and implement schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime for all students.
    • Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, colleagues, and management team members.
    • Communicate effectively with parents regarding students' progress and growth.
    • Maintain the health and safety of all students, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
    • Provide regular breaks and support for fellow staff members, promoting teamwork and collaboration.

    Requirements

    • Prior experience in childcare, teaching, or related fields is essential.
    • A genuine passion for working with children and creating a nurturing environment is vital.
    • The ability to build strong rapport with children, parents, and colleagues is crucial.
    • A positive, patient demeanor and excellent communication skills are necessary for success in this role.
    • Relevant certifications, such as the 90-Hour MSDE Qualification and ADA Certification, are required.
