    Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Data Engineer:

    • Improve raw data and PED systems supporting Requests for Information (RFI), rapid scripting, process improvement, technique discovery, and raw data validation.
    • Effectively script in a variety of languages with Python as a minimum. Prefer experience with Elasticsearch and the ability to perform data queries with a variety of differing database technologies.
    • Support development of new applications and processes.
    • Identify and explain issues with accepted raw data types

    Required Skills for the Data Engineer:

    • At least a Bachelor level degree in a STEM field and at least 5 years of related experience.
    • Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information: Active TS/SCI security clearance with the ability to maintain clearance.
    • Ability to effectively script in a variety of languages with Python as a minimum. Prefer experience with Elasticsearch and the ability to perform data queries with a variety of differing database technologies

    Compensation Details: 70-118k salary range
