    Description

    MANUFACTURING ENGINEERPackage:
    Salary: $60-110k, depending on education, experience Location:

    Canada Contract:

    Permanent Hours:

    Fulltime Note:
    Candidates must have lived in Canada for at least the last 5 years


    Key Responsibilities:
    Creation of ISI producibility design rules and interim products / product families; Develop ISI production norms by interim product based on time studies & data analysis; Development of the CSC Manufacturing; Instructions & Processes build documentation for Manufacture and construction of the CSC vessel; Supporting the design reviews for producibility through the ISI design rules


    Qualifications:

    Academically qualified as an engineer with a recognized university bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or similar; 3+ years' experience in a complex system manufacturing environments - shipbuildingexperience will be an"asset" but not required; Professional Engineer (P.Eng) or equivalent,or the ability to obtain P.Eng; Experience with manufacturing process assessment and development; Experience creating production or process documentation (Manufacturing Instructions, Standard Operating Procedures and similar); Experience using Product Life Cycle Management, NC, Planning, MRP, or other Manufacturing software and systems; Ability to communicate effectively and persuasively in English, both orally and in writing; Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.

    All successful applicants must meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
