- Monday- Friday 6am to 2:30 (must be open to OT and weekends)
- Perform tests on electronic components according to established procedures
- Collect and record test data accurately and efficiently
- Operate test equipment and tools, such as oscilloscopes and multimeters
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with electronic components
- Assemble and disassemble products for testing purposes
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications
- Proper execution of Inventory control, cycle counting, and computer transactions.
- Component or wire preparation
- Reading wiring tables
- Maintain and operate test fixtures and associated equipment per written test instructions.
- Print Labels ensure any printed labels are transacted to the correct planned order on the tracker.
- Assist Engineers or Technicians by gathering requested information to help establish the root cause of problems, and determine corrective action
- Work with Engineering to implement continuous improvement.
- SFDC material transaction capability
- Participate in Lean (improvement) activities.
- Understand Control panel wiring and cubicle fabrication from mechanical/electrical drawings.
- Reporting to the Team Lead highlighting issues affecting the daily plan.
- Promote quality throughout the production process.
- Maintain process disciplines at all times.
- Collaborate with other team members to improve testing processes
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- 1-2 years of previous experience in a similar role as a Test Operator
- Nationally recognized certification in the field of panel wiring/electronic engineering.
- Certification to IPC 620.
- Familiarity with reading schematics and technical drawings
- Experience/knowledge in selection of cable sizes, types and ratings along with application of cable termination/crimping techniques and soldering skills.
- Must be able to separate control and power cables, identify and terminate wires as appropriate.
- Perform assigned in-process inspection duties as required during product test.
- Proficiency in data collection and analysis
- Knowledge of test automation tools and software
- Ability to use hand tools effectively and safely
- Experience with quality assurance procedures and practices
- Familiarity with using measuring instruments such as micrometers
- Understanding of quality control principles in PCB manufacturing
