    Job Summary:


    We are seeking a skilled Software Testing Engineer with a strong background in automation consulting to join our dynamic team in Alpharetta, GA.

    The ideal candidate will have 2 5 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation frameworks and tools.

    This role is critical in ensuring the quality and performance of our software products through rigorous testing methodologies.

    Responsibilities:
    Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts to validate software functionality and performance.
    Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand requirements and develop comprehensive test plans.
    Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools, ensuring timely resolution.
    Perform regression testing and maintain automated test suites to ensure ongoing software quality.
    Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality aspects of the software.
    Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
    Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in software testing and automation.

    Mandatory Skills:


    Strong knowledge and experience as an Automation Consultant, with proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.

    Experience in scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript for test automation.
    Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
    Ability to analyze complex software systems and develop effective testing strategies.
    Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.

    Preferred Skills:
    Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
    Knowledge of API testing and tools like Postman or SoapUI.
    Experience with Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams.
    Understanding of cloud based testing environments and tools.

    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    2 5 years of experience in software testing, with a strong emphasis on automation.
    Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
    Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
